While voice presents a bold new interface for consumer electronic brands, embedding voice interaction into a product presents challenges: it takes a long time to prototype, requires working with many suppliers, and needs a significant amount of testing to work around the limits of speech recognition. Companies looking to use voice deploy piecemeal solutions that are not scalable and have very limited functionality that doesn’t impress end users.

UCIC provides end to end tools and services to build and deploy natural voice interaction on any hardware. We allow for companies to rapidly prototype and deploy voice interaction on their hardware devices so that they can make the decision to move ahead with voice on their products.

UCIC has learned from millions of interactions between users and its first device, the Ubi - a WiFi-connected, voice operated computer that was the first of it's kind on the market and a huge success on Kickstarter in 2012.
