Home office stipend

To encourage and foster a healthy remote work environment for employees, we have a $500/year annual stipend (based on your start date). All full-time employees are eligible after a 45 day waiting peri

Tropic pays for 75% of the premium for medical plans and dental plans for you and your dependents. Tropic also offers a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and a Health Savings Account (HSA).

Reproductive medical care policy

Our newest benefit to our US employees will include up to $5,000 in travel expenses for covered services that are not available in the state that they reside in. This policy will cover our employees, their partners or dependents.

Parental leave

All parents receive 12 weeks of paid parental leave, which must be used in the first year of the child’s entry into the family. For any parental leave, employees are allowed to split the leave in multiple parts.

Vacation policy

Tropic offers unlimited vacation to full-time employees with a twist. We hope that you take a minimum of 10 days off per calendar year. Tropic considers vacation time to be true vacation, which means that you are not expected to be working!
