After conducting thorough market research we pinpointed the primary technology functions that skaters utilize. These functions, however, are spread out across different platforms; there exists no singular community a platform created by skateboarders, for skateboarders. We wanted to create a space where technology wouldn't inhibit skaters, rather, inspire them to go out and progress this sport.

Tricky allows skateboarders worldwide to pin trick-clips recorded from their mobile device to a hyper-local interactive map interface. As skateboarders populate the "spots-map", Tricky will serve as an ever-growing archive of geo-specific skate spots and corresponding trick videos.

Complementing the social experience is a mobile competitions platform that will allow brands and independent shops to hold geo-specific virtual skate contests. This gives skate brands a unique, effective, and engaging mobile marketing opportunity that we have patent protected within the action-sports marketplace.
