91% of festival goers use a Smartphone, and the reason #1 to use it is to find friends. More generally, it's also the case in all large events (festivals, sport events, demonstrations..) and large spaces (parks, beaches...). However, there is currently no tool to answer this need, the only existing apps only offer tracking/spying via a map, which is useless in large spaces without points of reference.

Triber is a compass mobile application showing the distance and direction to follow to find your friends in large spaces and in large events, without needing a map.

The user sends a peering request to a friend, who by accepting it, triggers the Compass that guides them towards each other. It's also possible to share Meeting points, towards which friends will be guided thanks to the Compass.

Triber also provides official accounts for event organizers, so they can push points of interest to their participants within their events (stand, animation, food truck, toilets...), without a map.
