TREWGrip careers

Touch-typing on a full-sized keyboard remains the most productive method of text entry. Rather than using sight to locate keys, a typist relies on tactile feedback and muscle memory, and is able to achieve a level of competency called unconscious competence. TREWGrip™ is a new form-factor, or classification of mobile technology, that enables mobile workers to achieve unconscious competence while sitting, standing or walking. The QWERTY keyboard layout is split and rotated so a mobile worker can hold TREWGrip and perform ten-finger text entry. By maintaining the QWERTY keyboard layout, mobile workers can leverage their existing keyboarding skills and learn TREWGrip in about one-hour.

The TREWGrip Mobile Dock solution is a high-fidelity prototype designed for compatibility with existing hardware platforms, and enables innovators and early adopters to evaluate the usability benefits of rear-typing prior to the introduction of a Grippable Computer solution.
