Transmetrics is looking to hire full-time in Sofia several senior programmers (3+ years of professional experience): 1. A statistics/mathematics expert with strong programming skills 2. A distributed systems programmer, with experience in non-SQL databases (e.g. HADOOP; Map/reduce; HIVEQL; PIG; HBASE) 3. A user experience programmer, with particular strength in data analysis and reports 4. An ETL / data analysis expert and developer You must have experience in, or willingness to learn, test-driven development with an agile methodology. Transmetrics is a start-up company, based in Brussels, Belgium and Sofia, Bulgaria, that has won seed funding by Launchub (launchub.com). We develop a game-like simulation IT product, to help transport companies save millions of EUR by optimizing their networks.
