Thread's mission is to enable IT service magic.

We define service magic (Serv·ice Mag·ic /ˈsərvəs majik/) as:

"The act of making service requests disappear at ludicrous speeds. Typically causes customers to jump with joy."

Thread was born from the realization that ticketing systems were intentionally designed to disconnect people, and it fell on users to solve for how to reconnect. So, we launched the world's first Service Collaboration Platform with a radically different thought: keeping people—the right people at the right time —connected.

To do so, Thread uses conversational threads to bridge across communication channels to match each incoming request with the right technician for solving it. Customers can now have a conversation with the right person to resolve their issue faster than ever, without leaving their day-to-day workflows. For IT service providers, it means delivering better service and faster resolution times is no longer a trade-off—and shifts the economic model to power growth and scale in their business.
