The Wishing Factory careers

The Wishing Factory is an ISO certified (ISO 9001:2015) not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of underprivileged Thalassemia ‘Warriors’ in India.
Since our genesis in 2015, we have expanded our operations to 8 Indian cities in the areas of:
• Wish fulfillment where we plan and deliver meaningful life experiences to underprivileged children afflicted with Thalassemia.
• Empowering through education by providing scholarships and other avenues of financial support.
• Healthcare support through Thalassemia Wellness Centres that provide patients with medicines, blood filters, medical equipment for iron chelation therapy, etc to help financially-deprived families of young Thalassemia patients.
• Spreading awareness about Thalassemia, its effects and available treatment options in India. We also organise seminars to provide information about Thalassemia prevention so people can take measures to ensure that their future children are Thalassemia-free.
Although founded by a single individual – Partth Thakur, a Thalassemia Warrior himself – The Wishing Factory is a group effort in every way that counts. We are staffed by a team of 60+ dedicated people, 33% of whom are Thalassemia Warriors themselves. And our passionate, selfless volunteers who work day and night to spread our mission all over the country. Equally important, if it weren’t for our generous donors (individuals and corporates) and celebrity supporters, we would not be able to continue our work to provide free and accessible help for the brave Thalassemia warriors of India.
