The State Plate (thestateplate.com) is an e-commerce website on a mission to sell high-quality, authentic, regional products from states across India. We aim to tap the deep-rooted network of vendors engaged in preparing authentic food products, celebrating the amazing food diversity that our country has to offer. Our company was born in July 2020 out of the need of people not getting easy access to local food from their hometowns or having to pay too much in delivery fees to get their hands on it. From Snacks, Sweets and Beverages, to Staples, Spices and Pickles; we've been able to build a collection of 500+ authentic products from different parts of the country in the 6 months since our operations. Our journey is young and exciting, from finding the right partners to growing into a strong and versatile ecosystem for customers and vendors alike. Apart from that, we have a close-knit team of <10 people working from Bangalore, trying to build the next big thing in the FMCG industry, having a lot of fun and delicious food while we're at it.
