The GIST provides sports news, experiences and community that are created by and for women and casual sports fans to fill the gap in the sports industry. The founders saw how sports unite people, but also how sports conversation and community can be exclusionary for women as current content is created by and for avid male fans. In a market filled with traditional technologies and content, The GIST disrupts the space with its unique approach to connecting women with sport.

Sports content and experiences can be intimidating, unrelatable and male-centric. The GIST curates and contextualizes sports news from a female perspective and in a convenient and digestible format through a localized twice-weekly newsletter, daily social media, and an educational website. We're growing an engaged community of sports fans and GISTers through sports viewing parties, GIST pools and brackets, live-game commentary and real-time group chats.
