The Game Band careers
We're currently developing Blaseball, an absurdist, player-driven online simulation of baseball. Players earn and lose a virtual currency by betting on games, and then cash in their earnings to make changes to the league. The teams, the players on the team, the rosters, and even the rules of the game can be changed by the community.
In 2020, Blaseball was included in “Top 10 Games of The Year'' lists by Polygon, PC Gamer, Gamasutra, The LA Times, Vulture, and other major media outlets. In March 2021, Blaseball returned for Season 12. The game received Nebula, Hugo, and IGF nominations.
Our debut title, Where Cards Fall, launched in September 2019 on Apple Arcade. Where Cards Fall was one of the eight recipients of the 2020 Apple Design Award.
Where Cards Fall is a slice of life story where you build houses of cards to bring formative memories to life. Create pathways through dreamlike spatial puzzles to navigate the insecurities and emotions of high school and beyond.
