Our unique platform technology is a hyper-porous injectable biomaterial, and allows the body to undergo natural regenerative healing after tissue is damaged, without the need to deliver stem cells or biologics. The uniqueness of this biomaterial is manifested in its microscale geometry, and macroscale injectability for seamless tissue integration and minimally invasive application. Our material was first published in the journal Nature Materials in June 2015, and represents a fundamental paradigm shift in regenerative medicine. Tempo is developing this platform technology in a number of clinical areas, focusing on repairing many different types of damaged tissues to restore natural function and accelerate patient recovery in clinical scenarios that were previously untreatable.
