We use machine learning and a deep understanding of geography to unlock the stranded value of global-scale Earth imagery and weather data. Our first product, Kernel is a good example. This growing season we're predicting the yield for the US corn crop and offering those forecasts to a select user base in finance, agribusiness, insurance, and farming. Over more than a decade of back-testing, our models are more accurate than the official US government forecast 70% of the time. And our forecasts are available daily at local, county, state, and national scales.

US corn is just the beginning for our Kernel suite; we have a pipeline of other key crops, other geographies beyond the US, and other natural resource domains outside of agriculture. At TellusLabs, we're convinced that providing planet-wide coverage of our farms, forests, and water will change what's possible in tackling some of our toughest collective problems.
