Teammates.net Network careers

Teammates.net is a social platform that reconnects former athletic teammates with each other and their teams. Athletes register as members of all teams they played for in High School and College, and teammates.net automatically forms a separate alumni group for each team. The groups are interconnected so that users can switch between dynamically filtered views to see broader or narrower connections based on the specific teams, schools, sports and leagues they were in and the years they played.

Teammates start by sharing, viewing and commenting on old team-related info such as photos, news clippings, results, stories, rosters, events, images of hard copy media guides and any other team documents. As content is crowd sourced and shared through the site, it can be tagged with sport-specific information about the teams, seasons, athletes, events and more. Eventually, as this body of content grows, we expect to be the “community of record” / “historical archive” for leagues and teams.
