TalkLife is an early intervention for youth mental health support. A peer-to-peer support network that's grown organically and used by 175,000 young people across the globe.

TalkLife has fast becoming an industry innovator, with 120 volunteer moderators and buddies we provide a safe highly moderated social networking environment for youth to reach out and engage, from anywhere at any time, and shine a light on taboo issues such as depression, self harm and suicide.

Collaborating with Microsoft Research, Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology we're using TalkLife to combine and exerting the power of probabilistic graphical models, decision theoretic models, and Box's loop to better understand, intervene and predict self-injurious behaviour.

Our aim is not only better understand our users plight, but also eventually craft meaningful interventions that may help these individuals online.
