Tabbed is hiring senior engineers to own critical parts of a real-world payments platform operating at the intersection of hospitality, fintech, and location systems. This role is built for engineers who want full ownership—not tickets. Engineers at Tabbed take features from concept to production, working across backend systems, third-party integrations, and product surfaces that directly impact live transactions in restaurants. Tabbed is looking for highly autonomous builders who think in systems, not just code. The strongest candidates are comfortable navigating ambiguity, making pragmatic technical decisions, and delivering reliable, maintainable systems in complex environments (payments, POS, and real-world location signals). This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the CTO, with responsibility for shaping both the platform and the engineering standards behind it.
