Symbiothus is a one-person studio that builds AI, developer, and consumer products end to end — no team, no org chart, just an engineer paired with agentic AI tooling doing the execution. It started as a side effect, not a plan: DuckTap needed a home, then La Compañía de Gatos did, then Hemdal, Onramp, and Mjord followed, each born from a real problem hit while building the last one. Every product shares the same DNA — agentic AI, secure-by-default infrastructure, and a bias toward shipping over planning. The studio's open-source contributions (promptfoo, OpenClaw, OpenClaude) feed directly back into the same toolchain used to build everything else under the umbrella. Nine products, 20K+ combined OSS stars contributed to, and zero co-founders later, Symbiothus keeps growing the same way it started — one real problem at a time.
