The company’s illumination tools include flash, weapon, helmet, wrist, law enforcement, search and spot, next generation, V-series IR, and fire rescue lights, as well as headlamps; and tactical equipment that comprises sound suppressors, muzzle brakes and flash hiders, magazines, adapters for X-series lights, rapid transition sights, and hearing protection products. It also offers parts, accessories, pens, apparel, and batteries; and various training courses, including training in firearms and edged weapons, unarmed defensive and combative techniques, law enforcement and military low-light tactics, and tactical and protective driving. SureFire is a U.S.-based company that was founded in 1979 by John Matthews.
