We are a social impact start-up. We are a team of very smart people who are extremely frustrated with the world of giving and are committed to changing it globally. Our company's mission: We are building a Global Online platform to help charities engage their donors. Non-profits/charities' biggest problem is that they have a hard time communicating the impact of the $$ back to the donors and since they can't do that they have a hard time getting repeat donations, which is critical for their long term success. Instead of solving the engagement problem by communicating the impact they try to solve that problem by focussing even more on fundraising, which shoots up their cost of acquisition per dollar, which they get penalized for again because it shows up in the 'much maligned' overhead expense ratio. We are going to fix that problem for them by building the infrastructure to engage their donor base.
