At Studio Nefce, we're trying to make a positive dent in the universe by addressing some of the side effects of the attention economy. Our vision is to improve mental health outcomes by reducing our anxiety around digital distractions, empowering us to manage our entertainment diets, and reducing the polarisation we see in society through more thoughtful gameplay. By understanding human nature, we want to help people to develop the capacity to live their lives more presently. We live by our values of balance, honesty, and community. We are a remote-first culture that still values in-person interactions. We're trialling a four-day workweek and want our people to master their craft and prioritise deep work. Our founder has spent many years researching this problem, and we have the backing of Innovate UK (the British government's innovation agency). We believe our mission - to create soulful experiences that advance our potential humanely - is a cause worthy of talented and resilient people's time.
