Founded in 2013, Strane Innovation is a startup factory specialised in the sectors of sustainable development (energy, water, transport, environment and intelligent systems). Strane has set up a large ecosystem of partners in more than 30 countries and is involved in several European and international networks on energy and water. Strane participates in European projects to finance its internal multidisciplinary research, which gives us a strong prospective capacity and reinforces our technical and business expertise on our sectors. Strane has won a European collaborative project (SIM4NEXUS, 26 partners from 16 countries worldwide, 7.8 M€ on 4 years) on the interactions between the sector of water and those of energy, climate, agriculture, land use and climate, which will start in Spring 2016. Thematic scientific models will be aggregated in a macromodel taking into consideration the cross-sector feedbacks; an intelligent platform will be developed to structure the knowledge; a serious game will be also developed to disseminate the knowledge to decision-makers. Strane is to create a project spinoff to exploit this serious game. We look for a polyvalent, technophile entrepreneur able to develop a startup on the domain of serious games, and more generally on our target sectors to contribute to other projects.
