Formed in 2017, Store Nº8 exists to incubate companies that are developing the next generation capabilities we believe have the potential to transform the future of retail. Our portfolio companies are developing next-gen capabilities enabled by emerging technologies. They operate as stand-alone startups with the goal of creating strategic assets for Walmart in the long-term. Our process begins with a thesis around a next generation capability that will be critical to the future of shopping. We then apply the emerging technologies that can enable the experience we want to create.
