Stanford Systems careers
The world's first privately-owned suborbital spacecraft: the Daedalus "Personal" Spacecraft. A spacecraft capable of true suborbital (62 miles or 330,000 feet) space flight for only $1M USD out the door and $20,000 per flight - propellant and launch services included. Uses the same "fuel" as NASA's Space Shuttle, and built from some of the same materials. At 35 feet high and 40" in diameter, it is an elegant but impressive bird looking much like a wingless private jet when stood on its launch stool.
