Square Robot’s vision is to relentlessly improve the Environmental, Social, and Governance “ESG” performance of our clients through the application of cutting-edge robotic technology.
The primary way we are accomplishing this vision is by providing robotic inspections of Aboveground Storage Tanks ”ASTs” of high-flashpoint products such as diesel, jet fuel, and water. Traditional AST inspections, whereby a tank is drained then cleaned and inspected by technicians are dangerous, time-consuming, costly, and release harmful emissions into the environment. Our robotic inspection service allows tanks to remain full and in-service for the duration of the inspection, saving the costs associated with tank downtime, releasing far fewer emissions, keeping technicians out of dangerous confined spaces, and eliminating human error. Additionally, our robots collect higher-quality and more varied data than traditional out-of-service inspections. This provides a more holistic overview of tank status, which clients can use for forecasting purposes.
Square Robot’s founding team is composed of several marine robotics industry veterans, specializing in AUV system design, robot navigation, and robots-as-a-service.
