SphereEx builds new distributed data infrastructures, by being fully committed to the open source community, the platform concept, and cutting-edge Big Data technological innovation. Our founding team's open source R&D efforts led to the success of Apache ShardingSphere, a "platform, pluggable, cloud-native" distributed distributed database ecosystem ideal for large-scale data and data value-added applications. Following over 5 years of development, the ShardingSphere project has gained more than 14 thousand GitStars on GitHub, involving over 290 contributors, becoming one of the most popular open source projects. In April 2020, ShardingSphere successfully graduated from the Apache Incubator, and became an Apache Software Foundation Top-Level Project. More recently, ShardingSphere has also been recognized as a Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Panorama project
