Using the semantic-based psychometric approach, we designed and implemented web-base creative thinking exercises for the employees in the workforce. They are all open-ended questions that are aimed at measuring and enhancing employees' creative thinking abilities. They are categorized into: Creative Association, Creative Selection and Creative Context. Each category has 1-3 open-ended exercises.

To achieve such automated assessment, we designed and created a semantic-based engine that looks at users' responses, measures the linguistic distances between words and phrases and thus measures the users' creative thinking abilities.
To measure and analyze the users' responses, the engine uses:

* Natural language processing (NLP) methods
* Semantic networks from computational linguistics
* Computational techniques for statistical mining of large text corpuses

Subsequently, the engine provides various analytics such as the person's ideational fluency, flexibility and originality.
