It is infamously hard to sell to Indian SMEs (Intuit Quickbooks just exited the Indian market). But what makes us have an edge in this industry is that it is being built by people who own and run SMEs. We have a deep knowledge on India's SMEs and are well aware of their penny pinching attitude towards software (we know how to sell to SMEs) The decisions made for the product are to help SMEs use existing products in the ecosystem - like Tally, WhatsApp, Busy, etc. And so we have products that work along side WhatsApp (using a browser extension), automate tasks from Tally and Busy (accounting softwares) using bots, CRM with a chat like interface, etc. And to top it off we are using federated / decentralized technologies like the matrix protocol (matrix.org) which will let businesses communicate with to each other. It is an ONDC [1] in the making.
