Our simple solution includes a tamper-aware label that adheres to standard-issue take-home medication bottles and a patient and clinician-facing web application to remotely, asynchronously observe patients dosing at home. The patient scans the QR code and is guided through the simple dosing-at-home process. Once scanned and opened, the QR code is voided, and the label indicates that it has been opened. Upon completion, the video stream is uploaded to the clinician-facing application for the care team to review the video and ensure proper medication handling. Sonara adds accountability and trust and is already being successfully used by clinicians and patients alike.
