And suddenly, instead of sifting through article links, you could get direct, hyperpersonalized answers that were fast and contextual.

That shift was a tremendous leap forward for a wide range of use cases. But it breaks down when it comes to social.

LLMs simply cannot "see" the content inside social platforms.

It uses internal website scrapers that scrape the "best" set of websites to maximize its utility and relies on second-order signals: format roundups, recycled trend pieces, the occasional clout list.

Which means creators are still stuck doing the legwork. To find trends, they make burner accounts, follow dozens of creators, and scroll for hours and hours to reverse-engineer what’s working on TikTok, IG, YouTube, wherever.
