SkyCraft’s first product, the SD-1 Minisport, is a single-seat airplane designed to bring the freedom and adventure of flying to middle class consumers. By focusing on quality, safety, and performance, we've built an airplane that is simple enough to be flown by pilots of all skill levels, fast enough to be a useful mode of transportation, and beautiful enough to be coveted. Most importantly, it is affordable for a demographic of buyers who have not previously been capable of owning their own personal airplane.

The SD-1 is well-equipped at a base price of $54,850. The Dynon glass panel comes standard, featuring synthetic vision, collision avoidance, and a GPS moving map. Also standard are a GPS-integrated radio, removable wings, auxiliary iPod port, personal locator beacon, and lights for nighttime flight. The SD-1 is the most fuel efficient light-sport airplane on the market, burning just 2 gallons of fuel an hour. Total hourly operational costs are just $14.
