Sküma® (OSG Water Ltd) careers

Sküma® is a countertop, no installation required reverse osmosis device with a tweak. A specific amount of minerals is drawn from a customisable liquid concentrate. This allows any mineral/vitamin to be added to pure water to achieve a desired composition.

Water purification
The purification is done through reverse osmosis - one of the highest level purification technologies. It remove everything you shouldn’t be drinking (including waterborne bacteria, viruses, chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, and more). Its drawback is waste water - traditional system waste 4 for each 1 litre of pure water. Sküma reverses that ratio by only wasting 1 litre per 4 litres of pure water.
What do we do with that water? It is collected in a separate tank and transformed into plant water encouraging “zero waste”.

Water mineralisation
Currently two mineral concentrates have been formulated. The first one focuses on optimising general hydration with an emphasis on Magnesium and Potassium - boosting the cardiovascular system. The second one contains a high level of Calcium and Magnesium - maximising the extraction coffee flavours when brewing.

Intellectual Property
We currently have an international PCT application filed - International application No. PCT/CA2020/000120. Our method of purification and mineralisation using concentrate based formulation is emphasised in this application. National phases to enter in June 2022.
