At Skillmasters, we believe we have come up with the most holistic platform available that a youth team needs to allow their athletes to reach their maximum potential and help them earn national recognition from recruiters. Problem with Youth Sports: • Professional coaching is often expensive and inaccessible, which is why many young athletes end up training under less proficient, amateur coaches. • Lack of assessments and performance feedback (from coaches) hampers player’s progress. • No consistent assessments to follow and act upon for players & parents. • Lack of structured platforms for athletes to present themselves to collegiate scouts eliminates their opportunities to advance in sports. • Many talented athletes from smaller schools or remote towns miss out on many worthy collegiate scholarship opportunities due to their location and financial state. • The average recruiting budget for non-football sports in the US for a college coach is $500/scholarship so it becomes very localize and single-event focused.
