Be responsible for supporting the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, development, and maintenance of SimIS network and computer systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the cybersecurity infrastructure and on assigned projects. Ensures cybersecurity compliance and IT infrastructure integrity IAW Risk Management Framework (RMF) NIST 800 series Special Publication(s).
Master's degree or ten (10) years of relevant experience (required); PhD desired
Degree field: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, with specialization in robotics/autonomy, automatic target recognition, machine learning, system architecture, AI testing, or machine vision
Develop and train Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to help automate processes for Aerospace/Aviation Machine Language (ML) tool development. Duties include designing and programming AI systems, testing the ML tools and processes developed, working with autonomous systems, and resolving issues with algorithms and data to ensure the system works correctly.
