Shout careers

Shout is a twitter-like messaging platform with a twist:
- All messages are tagged with GPS location information
- Users can post messages only from where they are located
- Users can only browse messages within a user-determined proximity (up to 5 miles) of their GPS location
- Messages are viewable within 48 hours of creation
- Users can communicate with each other via comments

Shout provides a fun way for user to share information that are time-sensitive and location-based.

Imagine students using this to communicate with each other on campus, and accessing only relevant information in their proximity.

Imagine people can also announce their weekend garage sales/tag sales already coded with location, and people within 5 miles radius can see the event.

As a new and innovative messaging platform, it provides users a different and future-relevant way to communicate with each other. How the platform will grow, and how it will be used, is entirely up to the user community.
