    About
    Achievements

From 2006-2008, Kai built the Business Strategy Consulting practice from nothing to a 40 consultants and ~US$5m revenue for IBM China. His role was like the CEO of a startup: developing and fine-tuning offerings for the China market, selling the value of business strategy to Chinese clients who are notorious for not buying strategy consulting, recruiting a team of local talents, mentoring a team of young strategy consultants, and managing overall business performance and P&L. More importantly, he sold and delivered very interesting strategy and innovation projects: developing education services for a Chinese publishing house, new products for a consumer goods company, market entry for an European engineering company, new service offerings for a Chinese bank, etc.
