In theory, these exchanges protect participants from negative price movement by keeping their orders private until they are matched. In reality, they exploit the very information the should protect for their own gain by trading against their customers or selling it to third party firms.
SheeldMarket has developed the first privacy-preserving trading venue, that keeps order data hidden from everyone - including us. We using cutting-edge hardware isolation technology to protect users from information leakage while guaranteeing a low-latency experience. Our founding team includes the creator and former manager of CrossFinder EU - one of the largest cash-equities Dark Pools in the world, back at Credit Suisse.

Our first product is a cryptocurrency Dark Pool. It allows participants to find liquidity in a fragmented market where pricing is often discretionary and even manipulated on some venues. We are pending regulatory approval from the French SEC.
On the long term, we will provide this technology to all asset classes by allowing firms and banks to outsource their trading infrastructure to our Trusted Matching Environment.
