SF New Deal careers

Our programs are funded through private donations and City government contracts and keep small businesses open (and their workers employed) by paying them to provide meals to San Francisco’s most vulnerable residents: elders, people with pre-existing conditions, individuals and families living below the poverty line, people facing housing insecurity and homelessness. These groups have been underserved for years, and the present pandemic has made their circumstances even more difficult. Since our launch on March 23rd, 2020, we’ve delivered over 2 million meals in partnership with a coalition of community-based organizations and City agencies, and have disbursed over $24M back to small businesses here in San Francisco.
