Support and improve Foundry processes including raw material charging, melting, metal treatment, chemistry control, DC casting, homogenization, and related material handling processes.

Monitor and analyze key process parameters, process capability, scrap, yield, downtime, and quality performance to identify improvement opportunities.

Create custom automated equipment designs to contract specifications and applicable design standards while meeting material budget requirement

Perform engineering calculations with respect to strength of materials, speeds, horsepower, temperature, pressure, force, etc. as related to machine and tool designs.

Microsoft Office Applications.

IFS or similar ERP system experience.

Give designers clear priorities, expectations, and technical direction so assigned work moves with minimal confusion.

Communicate decisions, trade-offs, and risks clearly so project participants stay aligned.
