• Manage the global sustaining manufacturing engineering teams to provide a high level of service to global operations teams for Safety, Service, Cost, and Quality.
• Lead the global sustaining manufacturing engineering teams in prioritizing projects, managing resource allocation, project communications and progress tracking to ensure on-time successful completion.

• Contribute to product development through Design For Manufacturing and Design For Test
• Join product development team at the Alpha to Beta transition to ensure design is well-documented and has sufficient margin for performance validation, reliability qualification, production ramp, and manufacturing yield

• Evaluate, measure and manage Key Performance Indicators for current manufacturing systems. This includes, but is not limited to:

Safety
Quality
Delivery
Cost and Environmental compliance.

• Capable of using 3D software to create solid models and detailed drawings, assemblies, mold setup documents
• Analyze product and tooling data to identify required solutions.

• Support the design, development, and validation of connector solutions, including board-to-board, cable, power, high-speed, and panel-mount products.
• Collaborate with purchasing, quality, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, process engineering, electroplating, suppliers, product management, and other cross-functional teams to develop product solutions.

• Manage customer concerns and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
• Work with other departments to establish containment, root cause, and corrective actions on customer concerns
