Jobs at Rootine
Introduction
Rootine (rootinevitamins.com ), a genetically personalized supplement start-up is looking for a HIGH LEVEL co-founder with experience in B2C marketing and/or subscription business and a passion for early stage start-ups. The CEO is a PhD in biotechnology and serial entrepreneur and together with a great operations guy we are looking for a high level co-founder that can handle B2C marketing and customer acquisition.
What we do
Today, over $30 billion are spent on one-size-fits-all vitamins in the US. While Centrum and One A Day remain the top market players, science makes it very clear that we all have different nutrient needs! With Rootine, we use genetic data and diagnostic testing to create a 100% customized supplement mix. We ask you to answer a couple of questions on your lifestyle and diet habits, take a simple DNA saliva test (or upload your 23&me results) and take an optional blood test. Based on this information, we are able to create a fully personalized supplement mix that contains all you really need and nothing you don’t.
Where we are right now
The genetic test, the personalized supplements and the blood test are ready. The website is ready to launch and we have been accepted to participate in the Techstars NYC summer batch (which is an awesome experience also for your CV). We will launch any day now, get some traction and really boost growth before, during and after the Techstars accelerator program.
