RockMass Technologies careers
We’re developing an entirely new handheld mining tool that enables engineers and geologists to collect then process 3D point cloud data into useful geological measurements such as rock face stability, imaging, location, and more. Taking measurements at a mine can be extremely dangerous and time consuming, which is why our tool aims to provide a safer and faster way to realize information that is crucial to mining personnel.
Our technology is patent protected with complex algorithms relating to simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), orientation estimation, and axis mapping. We use the same sensors that are used in autonomous cars such as LiDAR, inertial measurement units, GPS, cameras, etc. and integrate their functionalities through ROS.
Our team is focused on building an industrial product that doubles as a very intelligent, simple, yet practical device that provides unprecedented value to the mining industry.
