Ripplewatch is built around the Momentum score, a single directional read (Heating up, Steady, or Cooling) per competitor, synthesized from hiring velocity, pricing activity, product changes, press and funding coverage, review sentiment, relevance trends, and win/loss. It answers the question founders actually have: is this competitor getting more or less dangerous?
Here's how it works. First, you give Ripplewatch context: your positioning, your ICP, and the real reasons deals were lost or customers churned. Next, Ripplewatch continuously monitors the competitors you choose, scoring every signal (a pricing change, a job posting, a news mention) against that context instead of just flagging that something changed. Finally, scored updates land in Slack and email, and roll up into each competitor's Momentum score on your dashboard.
