It's easier to book an entire family vacation--flights, hotel reservations, and car rental--from a single website than it is to schedule a child's summer activities. The recreation industry lacks a single data standard, so it's not possible to search and compare offerings across providers from a single interface. RecSeeker aims to provide that interface. The market is wide open to anyone who can crack the code of gathering data from activity providers into a single user experience. The technical challenges are daunting. If they were easy problems to solve, somebody would have solved them by now (and people have tried). This position would be a ground-floor opportunity to define and build a solution. We're planning on starting off with a network based in the North Shore suburbs of Chicago. This approach should help limit the scope of the data to be gathered and processed. Because the technology is so fundamental to our service we're offering this position to the right person to join as a co-founder.
