• Trouble shoot database issues presented from global team members for systemic resolution (Inventory, Purchasing, Engineering) as required:
o Correct Units of Measures / Conversions
o Research/Request coordination of duplicate cleanups for part number accuracy
o Work on global Part Number mapping and Item Description consistency
o Assist w/ID of parts from Material Team members when system parts not known
o Correct vendor item details
o Correct INV and CON setup in SAP S4/HANA
• Cross-references and validates Part Numbers between different companies (CAN, USA, IRL etc).
• Manages data exporting and importing across database systems.
• Set up system to define & ID the UNSPSC codes on items.
• Train other global team members on system information.
• Develop process improvements to achieve company goals.
• Other duties as required.
Job Description:
It is not anticipated that this person will be scheduling repairs or face-to-face with external customers. Submitting tech hours for payroll, working with invoicing, assisting in other duties that are required.
