Proxxi is a safety solution that notifies the wearer by vibration (haptic feedback) when they get too close to an electric current: Proxxi saves lives. Initially targeted at industrial workers at risk of electrocution, it is a device that provides companies peace of mind and visibility through smart, connected monitoring and insights into employee safety. Proxxi is a smart sensor that allows us to sense and interpret electricity with software. We have built the first digital electric field sensor that can remotely interpret source voltage, distance and direction. We aim to create a new data layer built on the electric field. Each year, over 2000 industrial employees in North America are electrocuted, with thousands more exposed to this danger in other industries. Each of these incidences costs between $1-4 Million dollars in direct expense, resulting in $3 billion per year insurance expense with an order of magnitude more lost to operational expense.  We are a venture-backed startup selling into the largest enterprises in North America and Western Europe who are looking to improve the safety and well-being of their employees.
