PreDxion is a precision medical diagnostic company. Our technology, “MicroKine,” measures a patient's immune response in less than thirty minutes from a single drop of blood, enabling precision guided therapies in critical care and emergency medicine. MicroKine is a novel, patent-pending near bedside diagnostic device that quantifies multiple (>6 cytokines) serum cytokines using small blood volumes (<1 drop of blood). Currently, physicians are unable to monitor patients’ immune function to select appropriate anti-cytokine medications. Delaying anti-cytokine treatment can result in death. Therefore, there exists a critical need for a rapid, near-bedside diagnostic tool to deliver this information to clinicians in an appropriate time-scale. MicroKine is the first product to deliver this information to physicians with rapid turnaround, changing the paradigm of critical care.
