Powernoodle exists in the nexus of decision quality, diversity and inclusion, and digital collaboration. It's a decision engagement platform helping leaders and facilitators engage and include their stakeholders and make quality business decisions. Why Powernoodle? We believe Powernoodle is the right solution at the right time. Here are four reasons: 1) Meetings are the primary way decisions are made in an organization. Meetings exclude. They cater to an assertive and / or senior stakeholder and are subject to a host of biases (e.g. highest paid person in the room, extraversion bias, etc). Meetings are designed for synchronous activity and therefore don't accommodate other ways of working, work styles and work schedules. Meeting don't scale which means only a few stakeholders are included in the decision making process. 2) Digital transformation has rapidly accelerated as a result of COVID. Many of us are working and collaborating remotely, often on different schedules, using digital collaboration tools. These tools were designed and built in the pre pandemic era, and as a result, reinforce / compound the "meeting problem". 3) The "return to the office" is prompting organizations to rethink how their teams work and collaborate. Remote, in office, hybrid? Flexible schedules? What tools will allow their teams to operate at their best? There is significant opportunity to do better. 4) Meetings often lack the conditions for psychological safety. Stakeholders do not share their true perspectives and opinions and therefore the business does not benefit from their diversity and decision quality suffers.
