Powered Orthotics careers

To make this a reality, we have developed a powered device, which uses electric motors to allow a disabled person to interact with the world once again. We set out with the primary goal to develop a glove that is both useful and affordable. We have achieved that goal with a soft, exoskeletal glove that is capable of opening and closing the fingers of a disabled hand, yet small enough to be worn during the activities of daily life. It is a glove that, by nature of its design, is easily and rapidly manufacturable in a cost‐efficient way. But for these patients, it is not simply our aim to sell these people a product, we are providing them with an invaluable service: the ability to use their hands once again.
