POP Biotechnologies careers

Using a novel liposome platform, POP has created two powerful therapeutic technologies. The first, a light-activated drug delivery systems for tumor ablation. The drug, called "NP-01", is selectively taken up into tumors then activated to release a chemotherapeutic by administering laser light. The first disease target for this technology is cutaneous metastatic breast cancer, for which there is no treatment currently. The second application of the POP platform is a vaccine adjuvant called "C36." C36 can rapidly bind to antigens, particlizing them into a vaccine candidate which has been proven to generate a powerful antibody response. When used with Malaria antigens, C36 successfully blocked the transmission of the disease. With these two products, POP Bio will improve human health. With the liposomal platform, many new technologies are sure to be developed.
