PlanIT Impact is looking to change the way design is done in our 1.3 trillion dollar building and construction industry by enabling smart modeling for smart cities. We are a web application built to help designers, architects and engineers to quickly and efficiently understand – at the earliest stages of the design process – how a building or site will perform with regard to energy and water use, stormwater perviousness, proximity to public transportation, and potential Return on Investment. We are a mission based company with the goal of making sustainable design...sustainable. This can only be achieved by making data driven, green design accessible and affordable for everyone - linking life cycle cost information with digital modeling processes already used throughout the industry. Buildings are responsible or nearly half of all CO2 emissions in the US, as well as a vast amount of water consumption. To address the need for higher performance, we need smarter and faster technology.
